Tony Sellitti has been Charlotte's insurance neighbor since 1996.
A New York native who came south, started a one-man agency, and grew it by treating every client the way he'd want his own family treated.
Capital Insurance Agency started as a health care and Medicare shop in 1996 and grew, client by client, into a full-service brokerage licensed for life, health, property, and casualty. Same founder. Same phone number in a lot of client contact lists. Same promise: shop honestly, explain plainly, and be there when something goes wrong.
We enjoy helping people with their insurance needs — and we love nothing more than seeing the relief on a client's face when we say yes to something another agency said no to. We'll still make house calls when it helps. We quote drivers with clean records and rougher records. We shop a wide range of carriers so the right policy meets you where you are.
Tony's story
Tony has been in the insurance industry since 1988. He founded Capital Insurance in 1996 as a one-man operation and grew it into one of the top-rated BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina® agencies in the state — the kind of growth that comes from how you treat people, not from ad spend.
His peers inducted him into the BCBSNC Hall of Fame — recognition from other agents for how he serves clients. He's proudest, though, of the people who still call him directly when a friend or a grown kid needs coverage.
